The complete text of the printed edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, 2nd edition (1986), and parts of the new 3rd edition (in progress). Consists of more than 600,000 English words included etymology, definition, (linguistic) usage, pronunciation, and references.

Updated every 3 months with at least 1000 new and revised entries.

Searching full text, searching via index (main entries); several interactive links within the text; help function.

Represents 20 volumes (about 22,000 pages, 300,000 entries); quotation dates on a timeline, filters (pronunciation, variant spellings, etc. can be turned off).
