In few days a new edition of the Open Education Week will start (27-31 March). This globally organised event aims to raise awareness about free and open educational opportunities available for everyone, everywhere, anytime. Curious what open education can be for you?
- Visit the Maastricht University Open Education Portal, hosted by the UM Library, and learn more about open educational resources (e.g. YouTube videos) and copyright
- Read the interview with Andreas Herrler about a serious game being developed at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences
- Attend live events on video for education or the role of libraries in opening up and (co)creating open educational resources (also brought to your attention last week)
- Check the UM projects funded by SURF / Dutch Ministry of Education. At this moment assessment is being performed of the proposals submitted in the third call (UM is again in the race!) and before summer the fourth (and last) call will be launched. Interested in other projects or do you have an idea for a project on open and online education? Visit the SURF website on this topic
