To support you in searching for, finding and using scholarly information, the Library offers several courses and workshops.

  • The session was informative and tailored to our specific needs. It was great to have library specialists in various areas available for targeted questions.

Dr. Emilie Sitzia, Associate Professor Literature & Art about Library Introduction for new researchers

  • I also enjoyed a more personal session with one of the main information specialists who was willing to spar with our research team on our specific needs and desires.

Bram Duyx, first year Phd Student

  • As I will perform a systematic review and a citation network analysis during my PhD, this was all very useful for me. I am not sure if it will save time, but it definitely helps me to know what I am doing.

Bram Duyx, first year Phd Student

  • I have followed specific workshops on Web of Science and EndNote; although I have been using both applications for some time, I learnt more advanced features (and limitations) that I wasn’t aware of before.

Bram Duyx, first year Phd Student

  • You experience firsthand how nice and willing to be helpful the library experts are. Before the meeting, I would have hesitated to contact library experts, but now I know that they are easily approachable and willing to help.

Amber Gorsira, MD, Clinical Researcher about Library Introduction for new researchers

  • At the introduction meeting I got acquainted with the Virtual Research Environment (a service to share files within the research team) and with the Dataverse Network (a progressive approach to archive, link to, and possibly share research data in a scientifically sound manner).

Bram Duyx, first year Phd Student
