Two girls on expedition in China: Following the footsteps of the Jesuits

UM press release: Two enthusiastic students will be travelling through China in August. Their trip is a unique opportunity, guided by one of our treasures from the Special Collections. That is the China Illustrata, a 17th-century collection of travel journals compiled by the Jesuit Athanasius Kircher.
