After a successful joint closing event at the National Library of the Netherlands, Maastricht University and Radboud University present a shortened online edition of the final presentation of the Open Topstukken project, as part of the Dutch Month of Digital Heritage.
During this session, Sandra Fauconnier (Wikidata specialist) will highlight the main results of the project, in which both universities collaborated to make top pieces from their heritage collections more digitally discoverable, connected, and reusable.
The online edition offers a brief reflection on the collaboration, the developed tools (such as the Omeka-S-to-Wikidata Tool), and the insights gained regarding metadata interoperability and the sustainable accessibility of digital heritage.
