Activities taking place at the two University Library locations between 10.00–16.00

Randwyck:

Visitors are cordially invited to see the beautiful study environment for themselves. Feel free to browse around using a handout to guide you through the facilities. If you have questions, there will be a number of employees present to help you.

On level 1, we also organised a couple of activities that are specifically intended for the parents. These activities are particularly interesting for those who are still confused by all that is on offer after having gone through all of the programme information.

  • Career guidance
Drop in at any time between 10.00 – 12.00. Here, you can ask advice from Annemiek van Kessel & Marion van Hoof, authors of the book ‘Studiekeuzegids; help uw kind op weg’ (Guide to higher education; help your child on the way). You can purchase the guide.
  • Carreer  guidance tests
During the whole open day, you can take a career guidance test and discuss the results with an experienced student from Maastricht University (UM), who will compare your test results with the programmes offered in Maastricht. There will be University Library employees present to help you and answer your questions.

‘Picture yourself’
Also on level 1, if you really want to experience what it’s like to study at this location, you can have your picture taken at ‘Picture yourself’. You can do this at the library from 10.00 – 16.00.
