From this week until the end of April, construction work – including drilling – will take place at level 4 and 5 of the UM Randwyck building at UNS50. If you are studying in the library, you may be disturbed by the noise this causes.

Facility Services apologises for the inconvenience and ensures us that:

  • The noise will be reduced as much as possible: most of the time there will be no drilling activity after 10.00
  • There will be absolutely no noise nuisance in the weeks prior to the next exam week.

Updates will be on the sandwich board and info screen at the information desk.

Welcome in other library locations

Before 10.00 we advise you to study in one of our other library locations – for instance the University Sports Centre Learning Spaces near the Randwyck Library.
Here you can find an overview of our locations and opening hours: The crowd tracker on this webpage can already give you an indication of available study places at the Inner City Library and the Tapijn Learning Spaces.

If you wish to stay in the Randwyck Library, ask for ear plugs at the Information Desk.
