SUMSearch 2
Database info
A free search engine, designed to help users perform optimal searches for a range of clinical questions. SUMSearch simultaneously searches for original studies, systematic reviews, and practice guidelines from multiple sources.
Search engine for medical evidence. Searches internet sites, the National Library of Medicine (NLM), the Database of Abstracts of Reviews (DARE) and the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC). Once a topic is entered, first, there are links to resources that provide broad discussion, followed by relevant textbooks, traditional review articles, and practice guidelines. Next there are links that provide narrow discussions: systematic reviews, and original research.
Easy search: when a search term is entered one can immediately focus on diagnosis, intervention, prognosis, age, filter, subjects, language.
As SUMSearch 2 executes live searches of external websites in response to your query, SUMSearch 2 is always up-to-date.
