Modules

The Information literacy learning modules can be used by all UM teaching staff to provide their students with a common ground to information literacy. Every learning module can be completed separately and can consist of a generic part and discipline specific parts, based on student and/or teacher needs.

Using the learning modules in your courses

Course coordinators, teaching staff, and tutors can use the information literacy modules in their courses to integrate information and digital literacy into their teaching. The learning modules are small, manageable chunks of education and can get easily integrated as exercises in any course at our university.

Learning modules can be integrated into your course in two ways. You can share the URL link to the module with your students, or you can embed the learning module into your Canvas course.

If you wish to embed one of these modules to integrate information and digital literacy into your teaching, please read how to embed these modules or contact us via Ask Your Librarian.

The tutorial on how to embed information literacy into your course can be found on this page (via Canvas login).
