Informal study places within UM campus

by | 15 Mar 2018

Besides the study places in UM Library locations, you are welcome to study in – so called – informal study places all around the UM campus. You can use these spots if you want to study with your own device; there is a WiFi connection. We have mapped the options for you.

Where can you go?

You will find the informal study places in this overview [PDF]. Digital maps of UM buildings with informal study places will be available in May at the Online Library, Student Portal and Student Intranet. On the maps you will be able to search in the various locations, and you can print individual floor plans.

Bookable rooms within UM campus

If classrooms at faculties are not used for education purposes, you can reserve them to study via the Student Portal in ‘Book a Room’. You can also find other bookable rooms within UM buildings in this system.

Alternatives during off-peak hours

You are also welcome to study in various catering facilities (with the exception of lunch peak hours between 11.30 – 13.30). See PDF.
