    Respect starts here: taking care of our shared home away from home

    The library is a location where most students spend a great deal of time. It is a place where many students come to study, collaborate and meet up with their peers. It is often referred to as the ‘home away from home’. While fostering this community, creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, employees and neighbours is of utmost importance. Hence, we launch a campaign about how to take care of our shared home away from home in the Inner City Library (ICL).

    Randwyck Library will undergo renovation work. The roof will come off (literally) and the location will be refurbished. To keep you informed, the library will launch special newsletters focused on updates regarding the renovation. Read on for more information about signing up for the newsletters, the project planning and preparations.

  • The Evidence Based Acquisition pilot with Taylor & Francis has been completed

    The University Library had a deal with the publisher Taylor & Francis (T&F) to access e-books made available by using Evidence Based Acquisition (EBA). This EBA took place between March 19, 2022, and March 20, 2023, after which the Library selected resources from that collection for permanent use.

  • Good news – our subscription to Oxford Public International Law has been enlarged

    The Library Committee of the Faculty of Law has decided to enlarge our subscription to Oxford Public International Law with access to two law services: Oxford Scholarly Authorities on International Law and Oxford Reports on International Law.
