Now that hybrid studying and working is becoming the ‘new normal’ we like to take you along some new library services which might help you to get the best out of your educational efforts. Whether you want to create or explore new resources (think of e-books made available by using Evidence Based Acquisition or using the LaTex editor), open (anatomy) resources or very old ones (find out how students made use of botanical history books in the context of present-day science), using these resources can add value to some of your courses.

We also want to put recent initiatives in the spotlight, like a project we just started on better supporting readers with disabilities and not to forget the metamorphosis the University Library’s website underwent.

And last but not least, take a look at upcoming events (such as workshops, trainings and courses) organised by the University Library for students (from bachelor to PhD), teaching staff, researchers and alumni from Maastricht University and the academic hospital (MUMC+).

On top of these events, the library will also be represented during the EDLAB Education Days. Attend for instance the interactive sessions in the library's Makerspace and Do-it-yourself Studio or participate in the workshop on open educational resources (OER). You can also meet one of our information literacy experts and discuss how to embed this topic in your courses.
