Do your students know where to search for information? Do you sometimes feel they need some extra support with their assignments (whether with searching for information or in writing)? Peer Point can help.

Peer Point is staffed by students trained at responding critically and constructively to the work of their peers. Their mission is to help students improve their research skills, such as

  • Effective searching (choosing the right sources and some search techniques)
  • Setting up a suitable search strategy for a writing assignment
  • Using a specific database effectively
  • Managing references (with the help of EndNote)
  • Citing
  • Writing

There are daily walk-in sessions at the library or students can contact Peer Point via email or Facebook.
