UM presentations at SURF seminar on Student Generated Clips

Would you like to know more about Student Generated Clips? How these videos can enrich your PBL course, or how they are best supported? Join the SURF SIG Media & Education seminar on 13 March!



Good practices by UM teaching staff will be presented by Ilse Sistermans (UM Library), affiliated with the UM video support team. She is joined via Skype, by Giselle Bosse (FASoS), who will talk about Student Generated Documentaries. Furthermore their will be pre-recorded video presentations by Nardo de Vries (SBE), who assigns video business pitches to his students, and Kai Heidemann (UCM), who teaches a documentary course.

The Maastricht University presentation is followed by a presentation on the technical workflow by Erik Boon (VU Amsterdam). In addition, Mariet Vriens (KU Leuven) will present her research on the added value of student generated video. The presentations are followed by interactive break-out discussions on organisational and ethical issues.
