Upcoming event: Workshop on writing a proposal on open and online education

by | 9 Mar 2018

Are you thinking about writing a project proposal on open or online education in the next incentive scheme? UM Library is planning an event in which you can meet the project leaders of current UM projects. They will share their experiences on writing a project proposal and how they met criteria on making their education open and online. We will dive deeper in the criteria necessary for future projects in this incentive scheme and inform you on the UM procedure you need to follow.

What to expect

Topics which will be discussed during the event:

  1. Creating and sharing open educational resources; infrastructure for storage and metadata, and copy right issues
  2. Platforms for open education; to have participants also from outside the UM have access to material, activities and guidance
  3. Open badges; to show that the badge holder possesses certain knowledge or skills (upon finishing the education offered)

Faculty funding advisors will be present to inform you on the internal (UM) procedure for having the proposal reviewed and signed by the executive board (a letter of intent is requested for these proposals) and a SURF representative will tell you everything to be well prepared.

Just too early to give you a date, but announced asap!
