Course Description

Ensuring research reproducibility is important for establishing the validity and reliability of research results. In this introductory workshop, learn how to enhance the reproducibility of research workflows with Python, a popular programming language used in various research disciplines. Participants will leverage generic examples such as data processing automation, or data publishing to DataverseNL, promoting reproducibility in their work.

Learning objectives
By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • have acquired an understanding of the basic concepts of research reproducibility, with a focus on Python programming.
  • have developed the skills to apply best practices for replicable data workflows and seamless data publishing in the DataverseNL sandbox.

Target group: Researchers and academic staff. This workshop is provided at a beginner level (you are somewhat familiar with programming languages).
