This year, the revised Research Data Management (RDM) Code of Conduct was introduced, providing updated guidelines for managing research data across all disciplines. The code aligns with the UM Open Science policy, promoting transparency and accessibility.

The newly established Research Computing Support team provides tailored guidance for using the Data Science Research Infrastructure (DSRI) and other computing resources, ensuring researchers have the support they need for complex projects.

Strengthening the connection between research and policy, we have introduced Overton, the world’s largest policy document database. This new resource enables researchers to explore connections between policy documents and academic work, opening new doors for impact assessment and evidence-based policymaking.

To further support researchers conducting systematic literature reviews, the library has expanded its services with online walk-in sessions. These sessions offer practical advice on search strategies, tools, and review methodologies.

These are just a few milestones from this year. Discover more in our interactive Highlights 2024.
