Content:
Qualtrics is Maastricht University’s official survey platform. It is a secure, web-based tool that allows students and researchers to design surveys, distribute them to participants, and analyse the results. Whether you are conducting research, preparing a thesis study, evaluating a course, or collecting feedback after an event, Qualtrics offers a flexible environment for data collection and analysis.
The session covers the complete survey cycle:
- Designing a survey – setting up questions, response options, and layouts.
- Distributing your survey – sharing via links, email, or QR codes in a GDPR-compliant way.
- Analysing data – using built-in reporting tools and exporting results to other software.
- Closing a survey – managing responses, archiving data, and preparing for next steps.
The training is designed for students and researchers who are new to Qualtrics or want to refresh their skills. After the general introduction, the course can be customised to the needs of the audience, for example by focusing on advanced question logic, integrating media, or using Qualtrics for specific research projects.
