Three members of Research Computing Support, and one member of SDI Hosting; Sander Biesmans (UM Library), Chris Kuipers (UM Library), Laurent Winckers (ICTS/UM Library), and Sander Boumen (ICTS) respectively took the stage and competed with 31 other teams from universities and institutes across the Netherlands.

After a day of solving puzzles, hacking their way through complex riddles and breaking their heads, they came in at an impressive 11th place with a total of 3360 points. Only 90 points short of a top 10 finish.

A day full of fun, and more importantly a day where the four learnt a lot. Moreover, the day was a great opportunity to meet peers in the field, for cross-team collaboration, hands-on problem solving and showcasing the expertise and skills we house at Maastricht University!
