Introduction to VR Glasses for Education
Gain valuable insights into what to take into account before, during, and after a session with VR glasses and experience first-hand experience.
Educators are increasingly seeking ways to help students engage with complex social issues, such as financial stress, inequality, and decision-making under pressure. While traditional teaching can explain these concepts, it often struggles to convey their emotional and cognitive dimensions.
In this workshop, we will explore how immersive technologies can support these learning objectives.
We will also discuss the circumstances in which immersive experiences add value, as well as the practical and pedagogical limitations, such as accessibility, preparation and facilitation. By the end of the workshop, you will have concrete criteria with which to evaluate how immersive technologies can support your learning objectives.
