Exactly 100 years ago physicist Albert Einstein (1879-1955) published his general theory of relativity. 2015 is also the International Year of the Light. Light is a natural phenomenon that occupies an important place in Einstein’s theories. 18 April 2015 it was 60 years since he died. The University Library has in its collection more than 50 books by and about Albert Einstein. In this Spotlight a selection, divided into three categories: his life (partly autobiographical), his philosophy and his theory of relativity.

From 7 December to 5 February we exhibit the books mentioned in this Spotlight on the ground floor of the University Library, Inner city location at Grote Looiersstraat 17. You are welcome during opening hours.
