RDM Experts Community meeting – 9 March 2021

26 Feb 2021

Join us for the RDM Experts Community Meeting of March! The Research Data Management (RDM) Experts Community of Maastricht University and MUMC+ remains highly valued and indeed our fourth RDM experts meeting is coming up. The event will take place on Tuesday, 9 March 2021 from 15:30 to 17:00.

During the upcoming meeting Olav Palmen, the generic data steward of FHML, will present a case study entitled “COVID-19: Towards a national data portal”. Olav’s presentation will be followed by a plenary discussion where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their knowledge of the topic and discuss possible solutions with the community. In the second part of the meeting Binosha Weerarathna and Vincent Emonet, data science engineers from IDS, will give a presentation about the Data Science Research Infrastructure (DSRI): a distributed and scalable infrastructure to run Data Science experiments at Maastricht University.

The RDM experts who have participated in the previous meetings have been invited to the upcoming meetings. However, do not hesitate to forward the invitation to colleagues at Maastricht University or MUMC+ who are active in the field of RDM or who might be interested in the topics of this meeting.

Those interested in participating in the meeting on 9 March can register by leaving your name and e-mail address below. The official program and a link with the details of the meeting will follow a few days before the event. We hope to see you then.
