Introduction to Turnitin Originality

Turnitin Originality helps detect and prevent plagiarism when students hand in assignments and papers.

Content: In this 1-hour session, you will learn how to use Turnitin Originality to detect plagiarism.

Learning objectives: After attending this session, you will be able to:

  • Use Turnitin Originality within Canvas.
  • Find and interpret a Turnitin similarity report.
  • Submit an assignment to Turnitin outside of Canvas.

Target Group: Teachers, program coordinators, block planning groups, and members of the Board of Examiners.

Language: English or Dutch.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of using Canvas as a teacher.

Course format: Presentation followed by a Q&A session.
