Responsible use of AI and prompting

An interactive workshop to help you build both the practical skills for effective prompting and the awareness to use AI tools ethically and safely.

Do you already use AI tools in your daily tasks, but feel you could be getting more out of them while also using them more responsibly?
On 17 September, we’re hosting an interactive workshop to help you build both the practical skills for effective prompting and the awareness to use AI tools ethically and safely.

Content

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to craft better prompts to achieve your goals, alongside strategies for responsible AI use, covering topics like privacy, bias, transparency, and understanding AI’s limitations. By the end, you’ll know how to combine smart prompting with ethical practices in your everyday work.

What’s a Prompt?
It’s simply the instruction you give a generative AI tool to get the results you want. With the right techniques, you can unlock more of these tools’ potential.

Target group: educators and researchers

Learning goals:

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain what prompts are and how they influence AI-generated results.
  • Apply effective prompting techniques to achieve specific outcomes in their daily work.
  • Identify key principles of responsible AI use, including privacy, bias awareness, and transparency.
