BASE is a search engine covering all academic disciplines. It is maintained by the University of Bielefeld and is free to use.
Aside from journal articles and conference proceedings, BASE can also be used to search for books, course materials, datasets and software. Content is curated and indexed, ensuring the academic quality of all sources.
BASE’s advanced search interface allows for sensitive and specific searching. Alternatively, resources can be discovered using the browsing tool. This tool is based on the Dewey Decimal Classification.
