Stay informed: search alerts 101

17 Apr | 10.00 CEST - 11.30 CEST

This workshop will focus on setting up an alert for a sensitive search in academic databases such as PubMed and Embase, and will ensure that you never miss out on the latest developments within your field. Aimed at PhD researchers, academic staff, and clinicians who would like to stay updated in their area of expertise.

Content:

In this workshop, we will show you how to develop a sensitive search strategy for your area of expertise within PubMed. In addition, we will also demonstrate how to translate this search strategy to other databases such as Embase (together with the common pitfalls). Between explanation and demonstration, there is also room for you to work on setting up the search for your own area of expertise – ensuring that you will not leave the workshop empty-handed.
