A final goodbye to Reference List and new options in Keylinks
Now that the Keylinks Learning Resources system has been in use for exactly one year, the time has come to say goodbye to this system’s predecessor; Reference List. As of 1 January 2022, Reference List will no longer be operational.
What does this mean for you?
This means that reference lists created with the previous system will no longer be accessible as of January, and – provided you worked with Reference lists before – all literature, learning resources and references will be offered via Keylinks. Additions or changes can be done via requests (option in Keylinks).
Not yet familiar with Keylinks Learning Resources?
KeyLinks Learning Resources is Maastricht University’s reference list tool providing students with a uniform list of course related materials in Canvas.
Also in the case that your faculty was not using Reference List before (and is not planning to), but you would like to order books for the Learning and Resource Centre, you are requested to use KeyLinks.
New Keylinks functionalities
Since our last message about Keylinks, new options have been made available:
- Notifications: in case of important news or system alerts (e.g. when the provider performs a system update and changes will not be saved), you will be informed by the notification icon at the right top of the page. By clicking this icon, you will find out what the consequences are for you or your students.
- Notes: also new is the option to add a note in your Keylinks list under sections and subsections. By doing so Keylinks users can further organise or structure their reference list.
