From Monday 1 March to Friday 5 March the international Open Education Week took place. The week is entirely devoted to open education and open learning materials. The latest developments are shared all over the world.

Activities to join in

​Check out the Open education website for a schedule with worldwide activities, a collection of resources dedicated to the topic of open education and promotional materials.

If you would rather stay close to home (and attend sessions related to Dutch initiatives), take a look at the webinars organised by several Dutch taskforces and communities: the SURF SIG Open Education, the Dutch Library network on open & online education, and the Zone ‘Towards digital (open) learning materials’ of The Acceleration Plan with ICT (a collaborative programme of 39 higher education institutions collaborate in this four-year programme of the Association of Universities in The Netherlands  (VSNU), The Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (VH), and SURF.
