Add a voice-over to your PowerPoint presentation
Instead of filming or creating a screencast, you can easily upgrade your PowerPoint (or keynote) presentation by adding a voice-over.
Choose the slide in your presentation and click the ‘add audio’ button to start recording your voice.
Adding a voice-over to your slides, resembles the situation in which you offer your presentation and explain concepts to your audience. Of course, you need to prepare your ‘story’ (script) and make sure your laptop or computer has a good microphone (or can connect to one).
Another option to create a video without actually filming (yourselves), is creating an animation. Actually, drawing is rather time consuming and ofcourse not everyone’s talent, but you can also make use of pre-set figures like we used in several Canvas videos (explaining about the options the new Learning Management System[1] offers to you and your students). But know that we hired a professional for this as well…
Now let’s take a look at real filming!
