Why join?

Prompts are the instructions you give to generative AI tools to achieve a specific result. By learning the right prompting techniques, you’ll be able to work smarter, faster, and with greater creativity. This session will also cover important aspects like privacy and the responsible use of AI at work.

The session is open to everyone, whether you work at Maastricht University (UM) or not. Feel free to share the invitation with colleagues or contacts outside UM who may benefit.

Extra for students: AI Prompting Hackathon on 19 June

Are you a student interested in using AI to boost your study efficiency? Then join the AI Prompting Hackathon on Wednesday 19 June from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Randwyck Library. In this interactive session, we’ll combine our knowledge to create and test innovative AI prompts tailored to studying. Bring your own ideas, or simply your curiosity, and your laptop!

This hackathon is part of the Digital Skills Corner, a monthly walk-in initiative by ICTS and the UM Library to help students strengthen their essential digital skills. It’s also a great opportunity to ask any other ICT-related questions you might have.

June is the Month of AI
