Qualtrics has introduced a new “Survey Taking Experience” as the default for newly created surveys. This modern layout improves loading speed, mobile usability and accessibility. 

For standard questionnaires, the new experience is recommended. However, surveys that rely on JavaScript, jQuery or external integrations may not function identically in the new environment. 

What this means for you:

  • Standard questionnaires work best in the New Experience 
  • Surveys using JavaScript or custom code should be tested carefully
  • Existing survey using JavaScript should manually switch to new survey taking experience and test their surveys
  • You can switch between New and Legacy per survey until 2 June.
