In line with the newly opened XR labs at the library, the Digital Literacy team from the library joined forces with DEXLab and Limburg Immersive Tech Network (LIT) colleagues to develop a workshop aimed at educators interested in the possibilities of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR). The workshop is open to UM educators and colleagues from Zuyd Hogeschool.
If you are an educator interested in VR for your course, join our workshop and learn about how to evaluate, design, and where appropriate integrate VR into your teaching in a way that is pedagogically sound and feasible within your own teaching context.
This session takes place in the XR lab at the UM Inner City Library and allows for first hand VR experiences and gives insights into the available UM facilities.
If you want to know more, come and join the workshop on 21 May! No prior experience needed, just your curiosity.
