The number of Elsevier journals, in which you as a corresponding author can publish your articles without costs, increases  from 140 to 276. This doubles the opportunity to get free Open Access for your readers.

Moreover, Elsevier’s coverage includes several journals in additional fields: water, health, chemistry, logistics, pharmacology and toxicology. The 276 journals match 20% of the licensed journal package; in 2018 this percentage will be raised to 30%.

Starting 8 December 2016, all accepted articles are eligible for this scheme, which is part of the Elsevier agreement 2016-2018. Due to this agreement, individual corresponding authors face no additional costs if choosing to publish Open Access in the journals within the scheme.
