Randwyck Library and learning spaces open as of 31 August

During the coronacrisis, we were able to offer online support and a limited number of learning places at the Inner City Library. We are happy to inform you that as of 31 August, we can scale up the amount of safe study places and services in the Randwyck Library and our learning spaces. Of course while taking all COVID-19 guidelines into account.

What can you expect as of 31 August?

  • The Randwyck Library and the learning spaces at Tapijn Loods V, University Sports Centre, LINK and Randwyck Computer Facilities will be open again. Because of the Opening of the Academic Year, the Tapijn learning spaces will open as of 1 September. The Inner City Library remains open.
  • There is still a limited amount of study places available, approximately 1/3 of the full capacity
  • At the Inner City and Randwyck Library, there are bookable as well as non-bookable study places Book your study place via umlib.nl/studyplace-reservation
  • The opening hours are back to the usual. We work in two timeslots per day, with a half-hour break in between the timeslots during which the library is closed. Check: umlib.nl/hours.
  • It is possible to borrow books from the libraries
  • Don’t forget your UMcard in order to get access to the libraries or learning spaces
