RDM community experts meetings

The second RDM community experts meeting – 9 February 2021

Join us for yet another RDM Community Experts Meeting! Our past two meetings have been a success! We warmly thank you for your participation! Following this success, our Data Stewards team will organize a Research Data Management experts meeting every second Tuesday of the month from 15.30 to 17.30 (except during the summer months). Our next meeting will take place on 9 February 2021.

During this meeting, Maria Vivas-Romero a FASoS Generic Data Steward from the University Library, will present a case study of sharing sensitive data among international teams of researchers. The participants will discuss the possible solutions to the case study in the breakout rooms and the tools used for sharing research data. Following this discussion, Dennie Hebels (embedded Data Steward in MERLN) will present the Microsoft Office OneNote platform as an e-Lab journal to keep track of experiments (in the broadest sense of the word) from start to finish (aim, hypothesis, protocols, data location, results). It also contains tips on how to organize your data, name files, and share data. During the presentation, Dennie will provide an overview and discuss the user guide he developed, which might contribute to your RDM personal toolbox.

We have invited those of you who were also present in the previous meetings. However, do not hesitate to invite other colleagues from the RDM community at our university and MUMC+ interested in contributing to our meetings.

Please fill out your name and email address below to register. We will send the programme and a zoom link a few days before the event.
