You share, we take care!
Sometimes you cannot publish your article Open Access. Maybe you have no budget, or you have published in subscription journals in the past without thinking about Open Access.
Whatever the reason, article 25fa of the Dutch Copyright Act (Taverne amendment) allows you to share your peer-reviewed articles and make them accessible to the world. And even better, we can do this for you free of charge.
The only effort required from you is to send in the consent form.
After receiving your form, we take all actions necessary to ensure that your former and future publications are archived and shared, following the Taverne guidelines.
As a result, your paywalled articles will become available to the world after a maximum of six months after publication via Maastricht University Research Publications (Pure) and various search engines (including Google Scholar) and Alternative Access Services (including Unpaywall and Kopernio).
If you have any questions or want to know more, please do not hesitate to contact us.
