Showcase your talent during Museumnacht’s ‘Spoken Word’!

by | 15 Feb 2019

Museumnacht Maastricht 2019 presents yet another exciting collaboration between Dominicanen Bookshop and Maastricht University Library. Spoken Word Maastricht is back again, with a theme that is out of this world: Lost in Space. And you are cordially invited to take part!

We want you @ Dominicanen!

Are you a young writer, poet, singer or performer? Are you interested in being inspired by rare books and inspiring others in return? If you can answer yes to both questions, you might be our next big performer! You will be able to showcase your talent during our 4th edition of Spoken Word on Friday 12 April 2019, between 20.00 – 21.00 at the Dominicanen Bookstore located at Dominicanerkerkstraat Maastricht.

Let your creativity come to life!

If you are up for doing something creative and in need of a platform to perform your work, then this is your chance! As a participant, you will get access to the Maastricht University Library’s Special Collections where you will be able to surround yourself with historically valuable books. Relating to the theme ‘Lost in Space’, we want to bring you back from outer space, into the space that we currently inhabit. With all the injustice in the world we live in, it’s time for us to have our voices heard. Dig deep into our extensive selections of historical books. From church and religious protests to social manifestos, and artistic revolutions, we’ve got all the materials to enrich your creative mind.
