The University Library has subscribed to Project Muse Current Collection. This specific collection comprises 352 journal titles of non-profit publishers, in humanities and social sciences.

Officially, UM access starts at 1 January 2017, but the service is already accessible as of now.  Please find the service here.

The FASoS Library Committee is convinced that these journals will be very useful for research purposes, and teaching as well. In fact, subscribing to Project Muse was a long-standing wish of many faculty members, and also includes several journals that had been cancelled some years back due to budget cuts.

One-year pilot

FASoS has agreed to increase the budget for library purposes for 2017. Therefore, the subscription will be a one-year pilot, and will be evaluated halfway 2017. Depending on the usage and available resources, a decision will be taken as to prolonging the subscription.

Project Muse Current Collection is offered by the University Library in the list of Databases on the homepage.
