UM Library is hiring a Specialist Information & Digital Literacy Skills (0.7-1.0 fte)

Are you our new enthusiastic colleague, with a passion for education? With an eye for the broad range of skills that students need in the changing digital information world? If you are motivated to develop further into an all-round skills trainer, the University Library Skills & Academic Support team is looking for you!

What are you going to do?

  • You will support and provide education in the information and digital literacy skills programme for bachelor’s and master’s students
  • You also contribute to the planning process of the library skills programme and to the library teacher professionalisation programme
  • You contribute further to the development and creation of an optimal mix of educational materials for online and offline use in education
  • To that end you will discuss with faculties, together with the library domain specialists and the Maastricht University (UM) EDLAB, the embedment of information and digital literacy skills education in UM education programmes
