Resources for researchers
The University Library offers a range of resources to support UM researchers with RDM. These include interactive workshops such as “Introduction to Data Management Plans” and “Qualitative FAIR data”, which offer hands-on guidance for creating Data Management Plans and applying the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles. More information on these and other workshops is available on the trainings and workshops page.
Among the available tools, the data repository DataverseNL, supported by the University Library, allows researchers to publish their research data in line with the FAIR and Open Science principles.
In addition, each faculty has dedicated data stewards who provide personalized RDM support. They assist researchers in creating Data Management Plans, offer guidance on FAIR data practices, and advise on data publishing, in line with UM’s Open Science policy, as well as funder requirements and legal standards.
