Several colleagues from Maastricht University and the University Library attended the Open Science Festival in Groningen and many of them actively contributed to the program. For example, Shuai Wang, Pedro Hernández Serrano, and data/software stewards from other universities/institutions co-organised a workshop focused on comparing software policies across Dutch institutions.

During the event, Shuai also presented his award-winning poster, which had previously been presented earlier this year at the CoRDI Conference in Aachen. This work introduces a new framework for documenting implementation decisions related to resource use and service selection, offering a structured approach for comparing data infrastructures. In addition, this initiative included two use cases, drawn from current projects at Maastricht University. The first, PURE3D, is a major data infrastructure developed by colleagues at FASoS and partner institutions across the Netherlands. The second, the Digital Collections Portal, is developed and maintained by at the University Library by the Linked Data team. Together, these use cases illustrate the versatility and potential of the DIMP framework in supporting data infrastructures of varying purposes and characteristics.
