To ensure that UM research, education, and resulting collaborations take place in the safest and most socially responsible way possible, the SPU advises always using this form. The answers to the questions in the form and any advice from the SPU are completely non-binding.
Research Project Services platform
You can find the single online questionnaire for all three assessment frameworks within the Research Project Services (RPS) platform.
The RPS platform is Maastricht University’s one-stop shop for handling an increasing number of administrative processes related to research. You can log in with your UM account.
Pilot Fossil-Free Society
A pilot has been launched within the FSE and SBE faculties for the Fossil-Free Society framework. Researchers employed at FSE and SBE should, in the light of this pilot, always answer the questions in SPF corresponding to the Fossil-free Society Assessment Framework prior to every new, intended (research) collaboration or project. For the other two assessment frameworks (Knowledge Security and HRDD), the use of SPF is on a voluntary basis.
For researchers from other faculties*, the use of the SPF for all assessment frameworks is voluntary.
*Researchers from FHML can send all questions and requests for advice directly by email to the Sensitive Partnerships Unit.
