The Maastricht University Library will be represented at the Maastricht Antiquarian Book & Print Fair (MABP) from Friday 15 through Sunday 17 March to promote the Maastricht Academic Heritage Fund, among other initiatives.

This fund aims to preserve the university’s heritage collections and encourage initiatives that enhance the familiarity and accessibility of the special collections at Maastricht University. The fund is used to finance projects that contribute to the utilisation of these collections in research and education at Maastricht University. Become a friend of the fund and support us in reaching our goals.

Held each year at Sint Janskerk (St. John’s Church) on the Vrijthof square, MABP offers a wide selection of the finest and most celebrated antiquarian pieces ranging from manuscripts and books (often early editions) to prints grouped into specific disciplines or themes. Professional collectors and interested lay people alike can drop in to browse or buy. The University Library will also present some of the finest gems from its collection as well as its heritage services, which include fundraising activities, exhibitions, tours, lectures and other events.

The University Library will share a stand with the Maastricht Public Library and the Regional Historic Centre Limburg.
