Teams will replace Zoom as of 1 August 2025

During the corona pandemic, UM introduced two platforms for video calling and online education: Zoom for education purposes and Microsoft Teams for other parts of the organisation. Since then, we have been using both systems alongside each other. To reduce the number of different systems (and thus double management), UM has decided to stop using Zoom as of 1 August 2025.

Maastricht University Library awarded grant for Citizen Science Matchmaking event

Maastricht University Library has been awarded the ‘Open Science Meetings’ grant from Open Science NL, based on a proposal to organise a Citizen Science Matchmaking event. The €10,000 grant will be used to foster collaboration between researchers and members of the public.
