Opening up old books: treasure hunting in UM’s botanical archives
In January 5 students of the Maastricht Science Programme did some treasure hunting (digitally) in the historical plant books of UM’s Special Collections. In collaboration with Wikimedia Netherlands they wrote Wikipedia articles about it.

The UM Library is pleased to announce access to the database VoteWatch Europe. The database provides access to the full datasets on the votes within the European Parliament (since July 2004) and the Council of Ministers (since 2009).
…From now on access to Lexicomp: Evidence-Based Drug Referential Solutions
Lexicomp is a collection of clinical databases and clinical decision support tools and provides access to clinical drug resources. The Lexicomp database is an addition to the UpToDate database.

The UM library offers access to I/B/E/S Global Aggregates database. This database facilitates top-down analysis in order to better assess potential growth and risk as well as future value across industry, sector, industry, index, country, and region.
