In this DSRI Community Event 2022, you will learn about the upgraded version of DSRI, our vision, progress and plans, as well as research projects that are making use of DSRI resources. This event is a mixture of short lectures and hands-on live coding workshops focusing on the topic ‘Beyond the limits of your local environment: efficient programming and the DSRI”, covering sessions such as learning the basics of DSRI, how to scale up your applications on the DSRI, and how to run your data science applications on our GPU.

Background:

In 2018, Maastricht University (UM) established the Data Science Research Infrastructure (hyperlink: https://dsri.maastrichtuniversity.nl/) (DSRI) as a UM-wide resource for data science and artificial intelligence research and applications. The DSRI is a cluster of servers to easily deploy popular workspaces and applications for Data Science. In 2022, the DSRI is being utilized by 221 researchers and students in 13 UM departments.

In this Community Event, you will learn about the upgraded version of DSRI, our vision, progress and plans, as well as research projects that are making use of DSRI resources.

N.B: For participation in the workshops, a UM email-address is required (@maastrichtuniversity.nl or @student.maastrichtuniversity.nl). The general event is accessible to all.
