Who’s this opportunity for

If you’re a UM staff member engaged in scientific research, whether as an individual or part of a team, across any faculty or discipline, this opportunity is for you. UM Platform for Research Ethics and Integrity (PREI) especially encourages proposals from multidisciplinary teams, as diverse perspectives are essential in addressing the challenges associated with research fairness, equity, and integrity.

Objective

This initiative seeks to support innovative research or action projects that align with the 20 recommendations outlined in the Cape Town Statement (CTS) on Research Integrity. Proposals should address at least two of the core values emphasized in the CTS.

Funding Details

The selected project will receive financial support with a maximum funding limit of 10,000 euros. Proposals should not exceed 1000 words and must be submitted by December 31, 2023. The project should be designed to be completed within 12 months from the date of the award.
