The University Library also serves as the Academic Library of Maastricht University Hospital MUMC/azM. Hence, for a new Talking about books video we went to the hospital to visit Carin Dansen, a midwifery nurse and nursing scientist. Carin talks about Nursing research: generating and assessing evidence for nursing practice, a book by  Denise F. Polit and Cheryl Tatano Bec. She highlights that the book is especially interesting to learn more about how to start nursing research, to collect (evidence) data and to conduct the research. Carin also gives a sneak peek into her working area, where new life often starts.
