From 14 July through 4 August, the University Library will have the carpet replaced on the first, second and third floors of the Inner City Library. These floors will not be accessible during this period for studying or for browsing the bookshelves.

From 28 July through 4 August, the computer rooms on the ground floor (with view on the Nieuwenhofstraat) will also be unavailable. You can then only use the learning grid (the big room where the information desk is situated) on the ground floor.

  • Need to study?
    Please keep in mind:
    • The building’s limited availability
From Monday 14 July 08.30 you will only have access to the ground floor on weekdays from o8.30 to 17.00
    • The library’s summer opening hours
The Inner City Library will close at 18.00 on Friday 11 July. The library will reopen on Monday 14 July at 08.30

  • Need books from the open collection ?
    • You can borrow up to 40 books at a time in advance.
Be sure to do so before 12 July!
    • You can still borrow books after this date, but you will have to request each book from the Information Desk. This can take longer than usual because our employees have to retrieve the books from our temporary storage area.
    • Please note: the microfiche collection and the microfiche reader will be available on the ground floor during the work activities.
  • Need books from the Learning and Resource Centre after 14 July?
Set them on a separate book cart next to the Information Desk before 12 July!
