The NWO is organising a webinair on 11 November 2021 entitled ‘FAIR: It Takes a Village’. This webinar will reflect on the roles and responsibilities of FAIR.

The FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management state that data should be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. The FAIR principles were adopted in NWO’s research data management policy in October 2016. Complying with the requirements of the policy involves researchers, institutional research support staff and services, data repositories and other service providers. Five years on, what are the challenges and opportunities? How can we best collaborate across stakeholders to address common challenges and deploy best practice and solutions?

The keynotespeaker and panel discussion moderator will be Sarah Jones from GÉANT and the European Science Cloud (EOSC) Association.
